2. The church of Imbach
View over the vineyards to Imbach and the church. The church dedicated to the Nativity of the Virgin Mary was built at the end of the 13th century built. The church in Imbach is one of the few mendicant churches from that time which still have the original choir.
It is one of the earliest Gothic hall churches and the oldest preserved two-nave church in Austria. Remarkable - and an exception in Austria - is also the still preserved, precious organ from 1605.
