High above the village is the castle ruin Senftenberg in Kremstal. It offers a magnificent view of the wine terraces, where the typical primary rock Riesling grows.

There is much to explore on the castle ruins and many stories entwine around the centuries-old building. Findings from archaeological excavations are presented in the museum.

Inside, cosy vaults invite you to rest and celebrate, and the roofed outdoor seating areas also make the hours with food and drink a pleasure during the day and in the evening.

The Verein zur Erhaltung der Burgruine Senftenberg has set itself the goal of preserving and partially rebuilding the foundation walls, and various events are organized by the association every year.

The ruin area is open all year round with free admission.

We are looking forward to your visit!
